Why is Celebrity Jeopardy....

So easy?

I have been watching Celebrity Jeopardy on Hulu (it's the only Jeopardy available on streaming and I don't have cable).I just feel like the clues were would not meet Alex Trebek's standard. When an average viewer at home can sit and get 90-95% of the questions right, there is a problem.

Did they have to dumb down the show for the celebrities? They are acting like the clues are super hard.

I mean get a panel of Jodie Foster, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Michael Tilson Thomas. Or Yo Yo Ma, Steve Martin, and Neil deGrasse Tyson.

It can't be THAT hard to find an intelligent celebrity panel.

Isn't the point of Celebrity Jeopardy to have the players win money for charity?

I would guess having easier questions leads to higher payouts (for the charities).

R5 No. The charity gets $30,000 just for the celebrity appearing, regardless of their score.

It makes me laugh celebrities don't know what my family would call common knowledge but then want to lecture me about politics.
