There will be three tours of the house, at 713 Bedford St., starting at 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The Hoyt-Barnum House was built around 1699. It's the only 17th century farmhouse surviving in the area. The builder was a descendant of one of the original founders of Stamford.
