If you've ever known any real psychics (assuming this guy is legit), they aren't always "all there." Their heads are sometimes off in the clouds and they aren't the most socially well-adjusted people you'll ever meet either. The lucky ones have someone to make sure they pay their bills on time and get where they need to be, etc. To some of them, the world most people see is only half the story and they get distracted by the other half really easily. It's not like they all need caretakers, exactly; but it helps.
