Tim Stokes Obituary, Death – An individual who is a member of our family or clan and with whom we have a shared heritage. This particular person is one of our two friendships that we share in common. After a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer, Tim Stokes, a former sergeant who had been fighting the disease with incredible bravery, passed away this morning. He had been fighting the disease with incredible bravery. For a considerable amount of time, he had been fighting against the illness.
Over the course of a long amount of time, he had been putting up a fight against the illness. At the moment of his passing, he was surrounded by the people he loved, including his family and other acquaintances who were very close to him. The comfort he needed came from the presence of the individuals he cared about there. Tim was committed to serving the community of Louisville from the time he was hired in June of 2000 until the time he left in October of 2020. His tenure spanned from that point till his departure.
It was in October of 2020 when he left. He served in that capacity from that point until the time of his departure, which was about a year later. His departure occurred in the month of October in the year 2020. Beginning at that point in time and continuing until the time of his departure, which was approximately one year later, he served in that role with the organization. Along with being a leader, advisor, educator, and mentor to a significant number of folks, our brother was also considered a friend by a significant number of those individuals.
He served in all of these capacities for a significant number of people. He was someone who served as a guide, instructor, and counsel to a considerable number of individuals. It was something that he felt obligated to fulfill in a significant way, and that was the desire to provide assistance to other individuals who were experiencing difficulties with their mental health. The fact that he was motivated by this goal was the thing that prevented him from giving up. By virtue of the fact that he was employed by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Police Department (LMPD) as a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Instructor, he was in a position to instruct and direct a significant number of officers over the course of his career.
The fact that he was able to work for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Police Department made this a reality. In this particular group of law enforcement officials, there were officers from the Lexington Metropolitan Police Department (LMPD) as well as policemen from other law enforcement departments stationed inside the Commonwealth of Kentucky. While the Stokes family and friends are going through this difficult time, each and every one of us here at the office will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
