The difference between Tatum O'Neal and Drew Barrymore

Both are successful child stars, grew up in fucked up show business families, with poor parents, grew up too fast and started doing drugs at an early age (Drew was much younger than Tatum when she started doing drugs).

The difference: Tatum can't take responsibility for her own mistakes/life even at 50+ years old, continues to blame her father for her failures in life, can't get over her bitterness and hatred for Ryan (and passed it to her sons) and only made a career and a living out of writing books trashing her dad and the constant poor me victim act.

Drew, struggled for awhile with drugs and fast life style, moved on with her life, Never blamed her parents or her fucked up childhood (at least in public), made a successful acting career for herself and continues to be a loving positive person.

Drew Barrymore is the Winner here. She is an example that you can have a fucked up childhood/parents and move on and make a life for yourself apart from blaming your parents for your mistakes.

Tatum is a Loser, she should have learned something from Drew.

It seems that Ryan O'Neal and Drew maintained a causal nice relationship after Irreconcilable differences. Drew wished Ryan a happy birthday on Twitter few years ago, and vice versa, he called Drew flower child.

In the previous threads, it was disclosed that Tatum O’Neal’s mother was a severe alcoholic and that her pregnancy with Tatum was unplanned.

Pretty safe to assume that Tatum O’Neal was exposed to alcohol early in her fetal development and that she most likely has fetal alcohol syndrome, which is a debilitating neurological condition.

Ironically if Drew Barrymore’s mother was doing tons of LSD and smoking weed during her pregnancy those activities would not be nearly as harmful.
