OP pretends the precious monkey and cat wouldn't bite her face off if they had the chance.
No human would want to do that. Unless meth and something extra were involved.

I think the monkey must be a female and the kitten's high-pitched calls of distress are what mamas instinctively respond to.
I just think it's fascinating to watch the monkey thinking and puzzling out how to fix this dilemma.

I used to think the same thing OP until I came across this particular instagram account. According to human standards, animals are Savage as FUCK. I came out the other end of that account realizing that humans are the most merciful, thoughtful animals off all. I used to think, yes animals eat each other, but the killing is merciful. No it ain't honey! I have seen zebras giving birth with lions just waiting for the baby to drop so they can swoop in and eat it up, then eat the mother. I have see vultures eating the back out of a deer as it was walking around. I've seen monkeys killing animals for sport, not even food, just because they annoyed them. So yeah, Humans are the most merciful, thoughtful animals of them all.

I'm glad the kitteh did not drown. It's so nice to see monkeys being nice. A refreshing change of pace.

Why was this person filming this this whole time instead of helping?

The kitten was a g-damn, scatterbrained drama queen. It was standing in an inch of water!
But no, the day had to grind to a halt while monkey and little girl risked their lives saving it!

You know if we neutered people to take away their aggressiveness, gave them shelter, food and love like we do house pets, I bet most people would be pretty adorable also.
