Matt Majeski Obituary, Death Cause – A young girl of eight years old who had been critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck close to her home in the community of Onondaga, New York, passed away this afternoon while being treated at University Hospital. Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh stated that an eight-year-old girl named Kira Jefferson from 3882 Bussey Road was riding her bicycle on the roadway.

Kira’s address was given as 3882 Bussey Road. According to Walsh, Matt Majewski, who is twenty years old and resides on Bussey Road, was driving north on Bussey Road when the accident occurred. Jefferson exited the driveway when he was standing next to his pickup truck.The collision occurred at 11:56 in the morning on the day in question. According to Walsh, Jefferson was taken to University Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead, after which she was conveyed there.

According to Walsh, Majewski was not traveling at a speed that was greater than the permitted limit of 55 miles per hour in the zone. Walsh asserts that alcohol was not a factor in the incident that resulted in the crash. Walsh noted that people of the neighborhood had seen Jefferson riding her bicycle in the roadway over the previous few days and had urged her to stop doing so. Jefferson had been warned by the residents of the neighborhood to stop doing so.

In spite of this, she continued to wander aimlessly in the vicinity of her place. She did not have a helmet on her head at any point of the scene. According to Walsh, there are no criminal charges pending against Majewski at this time. Deputy sheriffs continued to block the route at Holmes route for vehicles driving south from Route 175 only a few minutes before 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
