Malcolm Fuller Obituary, Death Cause – We announce the loss of one of our former Area Officers, Commander Malcolm Fuller of the Royal Navy, with great regret. Those who had the honor of working with Commander Fuller, who held the position of Sea Cadet Officer from January 1991 to December 1994, will never forget him. Throughout his naval career, Commander Fuller was a dedicated and exceptional person. He proved his adaptability and dedication to the Royal Navy by serving on HMS KENT, HMS INVINCIBLE, and in air traffic control before being appointed as the Sea Cadet Officer.
Commander Fuller remained active in the naval community even after leaving his position as the Sea Cadet Officer. In the Sea Cadet Association (SCA), which was the forerunner of the Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC), he held the position of Company Secretary. Subsequently, he demonstrated his unwavering dedication to the military and security industry by using his skills at Jane’s Defence Publications. Commander Fuller’s participation in a Pulling Race in Assault Landing Craft (ASCs) during his time as an Area Officer is one of his most treasured memories.
His desire to interact personally with cadets and employees was demonstrated by this event, which made a lasting impact. Even though we say goodbye to Commander Fuller, those who had the honor of knowing him will always remember him. The Sea Cadet community will always respect and remember his commitment, leadership, and kind nature. During this trying time, our thoughts and condolences are with his family and loved ones. Though greatly lost, Commander Malcolm Fuller will always be remembered.
