Let's Discuss Jackie post-Onassis and Her "Third Husband"

Interesting article from T&C.

You don't hear/read much about Jackie and Maurice Tempelsman. He sounds very low-maintenance. They conversed in French. They liked art. He was good to her when she became ill.

He also doubled her net worth while they were together--not too shabby.

He never divorced his first wife and is now 91.

Jackie had a life filled with immeasurable beauty and tragedy. The Cecil Beaton photos are stunning. It's good she had a loving companion at the end, and an interesting late career as an editor. It's so sad she died at only 64.

Her "third husband" was a married man. Jackie was such a slut.

Did either/both Bouvier sisters have their noses altered surgically? They both appear a bit broader/more bulbous in these earlier photos than later on in life, when they were photographed even more frequently.

Jackie was a hypocrite. She did an interview with some journalist trashing everyone she ever shook hands with but its not like she was some moral paragon herself.

She dug for gold with unparalleled success.

R7 her kind was raised to dig for Gold.

Maybe Tempelsman's wife (Lilly Bucholz) preferred to be legally married, even knowing the situation with Jackie. If Maurice were to drop dead, suddenly, Lilly would have been in a financially better situation as legal wife vs. former with. (E.g., she would have an easier time inheriting.)

I love her drawings. She made a charming book of illustrations after she and Lee returned from Europe when they were college-aged.
