I don't understand the controversy. 60 Minutes interviewed her like they interview everyone else - like it should have been. MTG hung herself acting like a deranged idiot. They gave her the rope and she showed what she is to millions. Mission accomplished.

They did cover her harassing David Hogg. At least they showed footage of it. I still believe MTG is the one who planted the bombs on 1/6 and I'm not a conspiracy theorist. What baffles me is how the FBI hasn't moved on arresting the culprit (likely her).

R25, I can't help but believe (without evidence, of course) that the FBI knows it was MTG who planted the bombs but they decided not to arrest her out of fear it would be seen as "political" and "too divisive." In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they know who all of the J/6 co-conspirators are in Congress but won't arrest them for the same reason.

60 minutes was a standard bearer of good reporting. Then this showed up. Her reportage, specifically about Benghazi was not properly vetted.

CBS is timid with the cavewoman but Gail King demanded to know why President Biden has access to classified Intel in a very masculine fashion.

She is part of a movement that staged a terrorist attack on the Capitol on January 6th and even said openly and proudly that had she led the attack, it "would've been successful because we would've brought guns." The planting of the bombs the night before was part of that effort. Perhaps you're correct that she herself didn't plant them (and for the record, I clearly stated that my belief was without evidence) but I don't think the assertion that she did is in any way "ludicrous" or that big of a leap to make considering her other despicable and traitorous actions.

the '60 minutes' brand really took a hit on this one. I recognize that horrible people get interviewed; Tim McVeigh, Hitler, serial killers, etc. but the end result should show the audience just how wrong and dangerous the interviewee is- because they are . Hard hitting questions? I was waiting for Stahl to ask her what her favorite color was- sheesh. MTG should have been visibly uncomfortable and defensive - MTG beat Stahl and 'owned' the interview. I don't want to make any accusations on the internet, but she does walk the same way as the pipe-bomb suspect. I haven't followed this closely, but I thought they said it could be a woman. MTG has massive,rounded shoulders, and walks like a man. Someone here said she's into crossfit or whatever. That's what does it. My niece is a swimmer and has those big, rounded shoulders. She's a slender gal but she walks like a man. Different types of exercise give you different body types.
