I don't know where you found that picture, OP, but it really gives believability to the "on assistance" theory.

Mrs. Kennedy was a slimy golddigger.

The Jackie on Assistance thing is so stupid and not clever at all. she was very rich her whole life and became super rich once she married Onassis. Try harder.

Crazy. My grandmother is also 90 today. Now that I think of it, she did always talk about being born on the same day as Jackie.

R6. Not really, Jackie became very rich after he died. She spent a huge amount of his money while he was alive and he resented her for it. He was pissed and had to periodically check her expenses cut her off. But Jackie didn't even get all that much money when Onassis died, and then Teddy Kennedy intervened and brought up the issue of money while they were in the funeral car during Aristotle Onassis' funeral procession. Christina Onassis was so disgusted with both Teddy and Jackie that she jumped out of the car and refused to ride with either of them. However, Christina Onassis hated Jackie so much she didn't want to get into a later court battle so Christina upped the modest amount of Jackie received from Onassis. Christina had so much money that she gave Jackie $26 million just to have her go away and get the fuck out of her life forever. Christina hated Jackie but she hated Teddy on the spot when he and Jackie started discussing money in the funeral car. Christina considered them classless, dirty whores and golddiggers for their lack of decorum.

When she was married to Onassis she spent a small fortune on clothes. Then since they lived apart so much of the time with her in NYC, she sent her personal assistant to a consignment shop uptown, and sold her couture for money.

I will never say a word against her. Jackie sat right next to her husband when someone literally blew his brains out. She was crawling out of the car to retrieve a fragment of his skull while the limo sped up rushing to Parkland. What a harrowing ordeal. Then she stood right there inside the surgery watching them cut him and massage his hear and try to deal with the gaping head wound and the brain matter, and the blood that seemed to be everywhere because of the throat would. She was very brave. And she got us through those next few days, after Oswald was arrested, and then murdered on live TV. As far as I'm concerned nothing she did after that was worth criticizing. She was 34 years old with two small children at the time. I applaud her because she actually said she did not want to spend her life as some living monument, she want to actually have a life. And so she did. And she raised two wonderful people. I love to gossip about her but I will never disparage her.

R10. You are so right. When Jackie was an editor at the publishing house, she was the one who tried to get celebrities to write their autobiographies. She met with Barbra Streisand to try and convince her to write her story. Barbara said to her during the conversation that she remembered exactly where she was when President Kennedy was assassinated. Jackie looked at her but said nothing. Barbra realized her faux pas and was so mortified that she cut the meeting short. This was told to me by several people who are close with Barbra who wanted to apologize but was advised to never mention it again. She never wrote the book.

John's COCK in that pic. But is he underage there?

R10 I read an interview by someone who knew a priest who counselled Jackie after John was assassinated. She was feeling suicidal and wanted to see and talk to a priest but not in the form of a sit-down therapy session. Instead she wanted to play tennis with him and talk to him about everything that was bothering her on the tennis court, and he did. Strange but true.

OMG, R12: now that you pointed it out, I can't stop seeing it!

It's John-John's john-john, and it's huge.

R10. The real culprit at Aristotle Onassis' funeral while riding in the lead funeral car with Christina Onassis and Jackie was Teddy Kennedy. According to Aristotle Onassis' biography, it was Teddy Kennedy who actually brought up money to Christina, probably with Jackie's okay so she didn't have to do the dirty work. There they were sitting in the first car of the funeral procession: Christina, Jackie and Teddy, and Teddy turned to Christina and said, "So what are we going to do about a financial arrangement for Jackie?" Christina was horrified since this was neither the time nor place to be discussing money for Jackie. Teddy figured he would never have Christina's attention or have an audience with her again so he jumped at the chance--funeral or no funeral. Christina responded by telling him off and jumping out of the car and refused to ride with either of them. Christina got into another car with a relative, I believe her aunt, which created a huge commotion at the time. No one outside of the first car could figure out why Christina would get out of the lead car and get into another car during her father's funeral procession.

Details came out shortly thereafter when Christina told the story. Neither Teddy or Jackie denied it, and Christina refused to speak with either of them again. And that's how Jackie received $26 million from Onassis. She was going to be left a decent but somewhat modest amount. But $26 million was a drop in the bucket to Christina, who did not want a court battle with Jackie. Christina came up with the $26 million so she could be done with Jackie and the Kennedys forever.
