I'm watching speech-impaired Michael Strahan on Good Morning America and can't understand a word he says!

I'm never home in the morning and don't really see the morning shows, but I'm home this morning and Good Morning America is on. I've never really paid any attention to the people on this show but I'm stunned by the fact Michael Strahan is so severely speech-impaired that I can barely understand him. He seems very affable, likable guy but holy fuck, how does someone so impaired get hired for a national morning show where he's interviewing people? It isn't just a lisp, it's almost as if he's not even trying to enunciate.

Oh, and he's interviewing two Back Street Boys who are now performing and it's literally cringe-inducing. These guys look so sad and desperate and are trying to sing one of their hits and it's just crashing and burning.

Who cares, OP? He is there because he is extremely hot and has a non-threatening dad-next-door image. The people who watch him only care about the fact that he looks luscious, smiles a lot and is inoffensive.

I will forever be a fan, if only for his Traitors-like murder of Kelly Ripa. Remember how PISSED she was that he was leaving?? I think she refused to appear the day after the announcement. And he had to sit next to her for weeks as she threw passive-aggressive digs his way. He would stare at the camera as if to say “can you believe this crazy bitch?”

I just spend the entire episode trying to see some of that lovely manmeat slab shift and sway in that custom cut suit of his, ESPECIALLY when he’s kneeling or moving around doing something athletic. So distracting!

Yeah, can't imagine why they hired him if it's so hard to understand him, OP. Maybe you could ask the people who hired him to host or cohost every other game show, talk show, morning show, NFL pregame/halftime/postgame show, and other specials over the last decade or so.

I barely know who he is but was sure I had seen bits of interviews or with him speaking. Three randomly YouTube videos from the past couple of years later, and I don't see any basis to OP's claim. He was perfectly easy to understand clearly, with no guesswork or assumption on my part.

He has a very high Q Score (popularity measurement). I actually like him quite a bit. I've never heard him say anything inappropriate and he can mesh with anyone. He has a great presence and seems genuinely kind. So bite it, OP.
