Hulu's Pen15 will not get a third season

Hulu wants more of the show, but creators Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle are ready to stop

Sad. The show is funny and unique.

I think they’ll regret this because I don’t see much else in their future.

Hulu said they'd be happy to revisit the show in a few years if the creators want, so that's a plus. I just hope they don't revisit it in animated form, because I really didn't care for the animated special they did over the summer.

They both just had babies about a month or so apart.

That's a shame. This show is actually funny!

I'm a great admirer of the show (though I haven't seen the much maligned animated special yet,) and I'm actually okay with this news.

This interview gives the impression that there was behind the scenes tension and they chose to end the show before it became an all-out war

Is anybody watching Season 2, Volume 2? It just came out on Hulu.

Ha, good question. I think it's really only trying to chronicle the horrible, awkward horrors of Jr. High. And appeal to Y2K-era nostalgia.
