I'm watching Psycho 4. (yes I'm the person who posted about Scarwid in Psycho 3----it was a box set)
He had a pretty good run for an ex-child star it looks like. Seems to have had an ok career but nothing I've heard of in recent years.

I recently saw him in Ouiji: Orgin of Evil. He's become a hot daddy!

And he isn't one of those Nazi male child stars from the 80s. There's more than a few of those, Kirk Cameron most prominently.

He seems to be working a lot with Mike Flanagan.
| by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 2, 2018 6:05 PM |
Yes, he's part of Flanagan's company. In his current acclaimed hit "The Haunting of Hill House" as well.

He's a genuinely talented working actor. He grew up to be a bit nondescript looking (although perfectly acceptable) and so mostly plays everyman characters. He's had steady if not starring work throughout his life.

I am liking "Hill House" but I think it's weird they cast Henry Thomas and Timothy Hutton to play the same character at different ages. They're only 11 years apart in real life, but Hutton is playing Thomas's character 25 years later. As a result, Thomas seems too old for his role, and Hutton seems too young for his.

Actually I think Hutton looks a little rough for his age, so it works for me.

Here is Henry's audition for E.T. He was very good.

Was he one of Spielberg's "proteges"?
| by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 3, 2018 8:14 AM |
I wish he'd get better films. He's a great actor.

R16 He was really cute around the time he did Psycho 4. Just started watching Hill House and really enjoying it. Hope Mike keeps casting him.

His blue contacts in Hill House are weird and distracting.

I'm going to have to disagree. He looks a lot like a slim Corey Feldman in your pic, OP.

OP posted a pic of him in middle age. Here he is as a twink.

R7 Buck would never have looked rough for his age.

Cute ??? Going to have to disagree.

Armisrad Maupin (Tales of The City author) wrote a novel called Maybe The Moon which was a fictionalized story about his real friend who was a little person who was one of the people who actually wore the ET suit for some scenes in the movie. In his novel, the Henry Thomas character grows up to be a closeted twink trying to make it in Hollywood and I wondered if any of it was true to Henry's own life or if it was completely fabricated by Maupin. Anyone know?

He looks like a better looking DJ from Roseanne in Psycho 4.
