I think we can agree that there are only two sexes and biology is immutable (because that's the true) and still respect trans people. Just because there are radical trans activists it doesn't mean every trans people is like that. Most of them just want to live their lives.

Two years later I still do not understand how and why this statement or her subsequent, lengthy, nuanced response has garnered such acrimony. He didn't even specifically mention JKR at all in this statement, and in the 2020 statement, he did not misrepresent her stance. She said trans women aren't women. He disagreed.
