Compare and Contrast: Hippies Vs Punks

Did you prefer psychedelic flower power and walrus moustaches?

... or dirty, anti-establishment, raging punk rockers?

As a fan of Siouxsie from Siouxsie & the Banshees (and later on as The Creatures) I'd say I'm for team punk. Though technically Siouxsie & the Banshees are post punk.

Which side does Disco fall on?

Hippies are nice and carefree

Punks are more like elitists who bow down to a certain "look" or "way"--superficial

I never listened to punk and think it's total garbage. They didn't give a shit about melody or musicianship at all. There was tons of fabulous 60s music, by comparison.

Meh. None of them bathe. The hippies have marginally better taste in music. It’s a toss-up.

SF circa 1967, the fun only really lasted 2 years. Psychedelic for sure. Beard, stink, and lots of grass.
